SELF-EMPLOYMENT SCHEME

Self-Employment Scheme 

 

Under this scheme, loans and subsidy will be provided to the religious minority communities with the help of Nationalized / Scheduled banks to start or improve a small-scale handicraft industry, service sector and agro-based activities. 33% of the unit cost or maximum of Rs. 1.00 Lakh will be given as a subsidy.

Eligibility: 

(A) Applicants must belong to the State Religious Minority Community.

(B) The applicant must be a permanent resident of the State.

(E) The age limit of the applicant is between 18 to 55 years.

(E) Family annual income from all sources should not be more than Rs.81,000/- in rural area and Rs. 1,03,000 in urban areas.

(G) No member of the applicant's family shall be an employee of the State/Central/ Government PSU.

(H) Applicants should not have availed a loan in KMDC earlier.

  6. District Joint Director, Commerce and Industry - Member
  7. Concerned District’s Deputy Director, Women and Child Welfare Department - Member
